Chain stitch

Chain stitch embroidery (Chain embroidery) is embroidery that makes patterns with thread made in a chain form with a crochet needle. As the thread becomes chained in form, it is not suitable for thin and fine patterns or the ones whose sewing direction needs to be turned 180 degrees.

However, since you can show the bold lines, it is possible to show various expressions.

Also, Jacquard embroidery machines are sometimes used for chain stitch-style embroidery. It doesn’t use a crochet needle, damage fabric, or skip any stitches so it has a lot of flexibility in its usage.
